Importance is given to the various elements of the design such as the choice of plants – ensuring that they are suited to the local conditions, with colours and textures that blend into the landscape. The hard landscaping will form the structural framework of the design and the materials chosen will fit the purpose intended.
Further advice is available on features to fit within the design such as water features, garden ornaments and associated buildings that will enhance the outdoor environment. The cost implications of design and ongoing maintenance are also considered against present and future allocation of resources. The design ideas and proposals are presented in a range of different mediums in order that the client can visualise how the design will fit within the existing environment using artist’s impressions, 3D software and photographs.
Once the design has been agreed with 2D and 3D drawings (explanation) and images then the project can be costed and Barry can advise on the best landscaping company to build the garden.
